The CABDA Wholesale Shows

CABDA Wholesale Shows

The annual CABDA Shows are held at three locations: Chicagoland Convention Center, Ontario Convention Center, and Denver Convention Center. Although the two latter venues are very similar, each offers their own unique advantages. If you're a business owner, attending the show is a great way to expand your knowledge and find new suppliers. But if you don't live in one of those cities, here are the best reasons to attend CABDA instead:

Chicagoland Area Bicycle Dealers' Association

The Chicagoland Area Bicycle Dealers'Association is back with its third annual Midwest Show! This year's show featured 200 suppliers of bicycle products, demonstrating the latest trends and innovations. The show was held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center and attracted over 2,400 attendees. In addition to product displays and demonstrations, the show also featured seminars and clinics. Electric bikes were hot tickets at this year's show, with at least a dozen exhibitors pushing them. However, many Chicago bicycle dealers weren't biting. Electric bikes cost upward of $1,500 and are too expensive for the average biker. Plus, many people who ride Divvy don't buy bikes. Bicycle dealers are therefore offering folding bikes to replace those services. Here's a look at some of the latest trends in electric bikes.

Chicagoland Convention Center

The 2021 CABDA West Show will take place at the Ontario Convention Center outside Los Angeles. If you're not able to attend the CABDA Midwest Show, you can always attend the CABDA East Expo. This year's event will take place at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, New Jersey. However, you must register in advance so you'll have the best chance of securing a booth at the show.

CABDA Expo has opened attendee registration for their trade shows in 2021. The next CABDA Midwest Show will be held Feb. 9-10 in Schaumburg, Illinois. The event is located at the Schaumburg Convention Center in Chicago's suburbs. For bicycle retailers, service and repair shops, mobile operators, bike fitters, tour operators, and outdoor stores, early registration is free. In addition, the 2021 CABDA Midwest Show will be a hybrid event. All attendees will have access to the new CABDA Connect platform to attend digital seminars, visit virtual booths, and schedule in-person meetings.

The event will also feature educational seminars, clinics, and product displays. Chicago-based ThumbStopper will join Oyama Bicycles at the trade show and demo its PedalCell technology on folding bicycles. PedalCell is the first on-board source of electricity for bicycles. It provides stable and consistent electricity, while also maintaining a compact design. PedalCell's technology is expected to revolutionize bicycles.

The CABDA Midwest Show will bring together dealers and suppliers of bicycle parts and apparel. More than 200 manufacturers will exhibit at the show. The show will feature new bicycles and cycling apparel as well as accessories. The event will also feature vendors from 20 states. In addition to the Chicagoland Convention Center, the CABDA Midwest Show will be held at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Ontario Convention Center

The CABDA Midwest Show was set to take place Feb. 9-10 in Schaumburg, Illinois, at the Schaumburg Convention Center - Chicago Metro Area. While the cancellation is disappointing for attendees and exhibitors, organizers are still working to find an alternate venue for the event. This was the longest-running event in the association's history, and it has grown tremendously over the years. Organizers were planning to move the 2022 edition back to the traditional winter dates.

The California-based association has announced the schedule of its events through 2021. In the U.S., CABDA West will be held January 10-11, with CABDA Midwest scheduled for February 8-9, just outside of Los Angeles. The organization has also announced new dates for CABDA Midwest, with the new show taking place at the Ontario Convention Center in Chicago. In addition, CABDA East will take place on 8-9 December. Although CABDA events are traditionally held early in the year, recent events have been disrupted by travel restrictions and COVID prohibitions.

In addition to the CABDA Show, the CABDA West will also feature the Gates Carbon Drive. This innovative bike features Gates belt drive and Pinion hub technology to provide the ultimate mountain bike experience. It is also compatible with Gates Carbon Drive's advanced geometry and full suspension. With these features, the Nicolai G13 GPI is a new mountain bike that combines cutting-edge technology with the ultimate in mountain biking performance.

Denver Convention Center

The upcoming CABDA Midwest Show at Denver Convention Center will feature a large assortment of apparel, accessories, and sourcing resources from around the world. The show remains a premier space for buyers and brands, with many opportunities for attendees. The event has even gone virtual with its virtual expo, allowing registrants to talk with exhibitors, receive the latest production news, and attend valuable training sessions. Here are some of the highlights of the event:

The event will feature the newest in bikes, bicycle parts, and cycling apparel. Besides bicycles, the event will feature cycling apparel and accessories from over 20 states. The schedule for the Denver show is still being finalized, but exhibitors are encouraged to register early to ensure a booth. The show is open Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Denver event will feature an outdoor demonstration and demo.

Portland Convention Center
