Order Handling Capacity limits

One of the latest features in the Amazon seller dashboard is the ability to alter your daily orders handling capacity. By setting a daily order handling limit, you can ensure that your orders are processed quickly and smoothly on the same day. Amazon has implemented this feature after enrolling sellers into same-day Handling Time. However, many sellers did not take advantage of this feature and have been left without the ability to customize it.

For new sellers, Amazon sets the FBA limit at around a thousand units, which is plenty of inventory to fulfill orders, but too much inventory could result in a slow selling product. A good rule of thumb is to send around 60% of your capacity so that your inventory will replenish quickly. If you do send full capacity, you will be stuck with slow-moving ASINs. But once you hit your first sale, you must replenish. That means monitoring your restock limit is a key part of increasing your FBA capacity.

Order Handling Levels

First of all, you should determine the number of items you have available for shipping. The default Handling Time is three business days. This should be enough to meet the needs of most customers. If you have a large volume of products, however, it is best to change this value to one that is closer to the shipping speed of your items. Then, click the "Restock Limit" button. Merchant shipping template
